Marvelous!

I'm loving your bag grows!!!!!
How often do you mist fan when you first introduce to fruiting? after pinning?

I dont really "fan". Theres about 25 holes on all 4 sizes of the bags melted with a paperclip heated by a small torch lighter. The top is left open a bit and clipped loosely with clothespins. When I first introduce fruiting conditions, I remove the clothespins once a day in the morning to mist lightly and leave them off for a few hours to let the misting evaporate and give them fresh air. Then clip loosely again.
Once pins show up I still unclip to mist once a day, but only leave the pins off for about 15 minutes, then reclip loosely. Once the pinset forms the evaporation becomes less important and they will get plenty of fresh air from the holes.

Sweet man! What kind of bags are those? Just asking as If I can find them cheep enough to toss after each grow, then i'll pick a bunch up! My thing is trying to not have to buy a bunch of new spawn bags etc, and trying to reuse them as much as possible.
So I currently tie my bags off with twine after I open air g2g or g2bulk my bags. I'll let sit consolidate and once I introduce to fruiting, I'll just mist lightly and fan manually. And leave the top part of the bag lightly folded, that way I don't have to melt holes in the bags....
What you think?

I forget the size but I think they are unicorn bags (unicorn.com? search on google, youll find it). I dont remember the price, it was a big box I bought long ago, but I think it worked out less then 50 cents a bag, around 25? If you shop around. It is the one problem using bags, the cost and waste of them. But I like that you dont put all your eggs in one basket, and the easy of getting rid of the substrate or contamination. Plus when it stays in that bag, I get like 6 flushes off them, then toss in the woods for a nice little outdoor flush.

ok cool!
So I gotta ask some followup questions now :-P haha!!!
Are you doing grain to pasteurized bulk? I believe you stated some info in a different post about all that, but wanted to make sure. I know of particular strains that will fruit easily on plain wbs without even needing to mess with bulk. but you don't get very big fruits that way, just a lot of them!
Have you ever tried sterilizing bulk and injecting LC? let the bag colonize and fruit that way? or is it just that much easier busting out my two 18 qt roasters and just pasteurizing everything in there? they can sit at 150 no prob

Yes I do WBS spawned to coir/verm. I dump boiling water over it, not really pasteurization. That will be covered in that other thread though in detail.
If I were to inject LC into a bulk substrate, I would mix a fiar amount of grain in, and PC it. I believe grain is needed for the flushes. I have never done it. BlueHelix did it with grain in the bags PCed, with great results.

Was just checking out uline.com . They have ice bags by the carton(250) for $133.00 about .55 each. Cheap & easy to discard. Gotta friend who deals in ice I'm gonna get a few bags from him & give it a try.

NM, I got bags there but not these, they have a filter patch built in. Unicornbags.com has them for about a quarter a piece but you gotta buy 1000.
