Grain to grain transfers. Or a grain LC.

G2G is awesome. I was even able to colonize another grain bag with only 4 spawned rye berries. The stuff just wants to grow.

Corn = Grain
Anything that is a grass too. So Rye, wheat, corn, milo, millet, rice...All grains. Im sure there are a few others that dont come to mind right off.

FYI: Popcorn is considered a grain. As is Millet, most of the ingredients in WBS, rye, wheat, barley etc.
You can grain to grain with any fully colonized grain, be it WBS, rye, wheat, etc etc.
Place one kernel of colonized popcorn onto agar and within 24-48 hours it should start to recover into the agar.

IMO Agar because of the following reasons:
Agar > Grain: Colonize plate, take plate and under sterile conditions transfer wedges to your grain donor jars. Let jars grow out 5-6 days before giving the jar a good shake. Jar should finish up around day 14.
LC > Grain Transfer agar to LC, grow out LC for 10-14 days, shoot a test jar/plate of agar to make sure your LC is clean (7-10 days) then take your LC and inoculate your grain jars. A good strong LC will colonize grain surprisingly fast, but you loose a lot more time preparing and testing the LC then if you just went agar to grain.
