I don't think so. Reading between the lines is an ability, but there's no reason why it needs to be telepathic. The alternative would be that your brain is working that stuff out in the subconscious and bringing it to your attention. Animals collect information through all their senses and analyse it, but the ego isn't what's doing it. It can seem telepathic, but I think it's a matter of being in awe at the capabilities of the sub-conscious mind.

When two are in communication with each other I believe they share a deeper connection than just the words of their mouth, feelings are involved in quite a 'weird' way, I could say "Screw you" one way and it is an insult, but then I say "Screw you" another way and it's taken in kindly.

It is deeper than just the words and the mouth. Feelings manifest in the words and the tone and the movement, etc. When these signals are received and interpreted, it hopefully results in the conveyance of meaning. Words are not the full expression, and when taken in context, a slight will be funny because the body language 'gives it away'.

Words on their own can attempt to emulate this process with limited success. That's why we have emoticons.:awesome:
