Will they survive, perhaps thrive?
    #1473774 - 04/19/03 06:47 PM (15 years, 11 days ago)

Im a first time grower and here is my particular plight. I diligently prepared 5 water/honey cultures, Mex, Cam, Thai Ban Thanon, Plantasia Mystery, and Tasmanian. Wating for the mycellium to grow up nice and healthy a prepared two half foot deep 2 by 3 foot patches. The weather was real nice and was "predicted" to stay nice and I was a little antsy to get my aging cultures out there in the field so I inoculated some worm/cow dookie, verm, straw, compost, and wood compost covered it up and hoped for the best. In typical fashion it turns out the weather man was wrong the temp has now averaged from 40-50 degrees sometimes hovering just above freezing at night. It has also rained a whole bunch, this weather "should" last for another couple of days eventually giving way to temps in the 70s. So my question should I be looking forward to some wholesome homegrown expieriences this summer? Or should I hope for better luck next year? your opinions are apreciated.
