I could think I had read somewhere that someone had used GrapeNuts with some success.

i am positive you could get it to work, but you might need to add some verm, or possibly even some nutrients...i bet its already sterile enough for your use. i dont think this will prove to be anything special in matters of substrate for fruiting cubensis

"A human being is part of a whole, called by us the Universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest--a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty."

Never tried cereal myself but others have reported success when used as a substitute for BRF in PF Tek. The preservatives used are antioxidants to keep the oils from going rancid and not anti-fungal so go ahead and give it a try.

Get some organic from a health food store, mix with some verm hydrated to field cap., PC, and...that's what my friend would do
