What's next for me?

So i've been working with B+ for about 8 months now and I feel like i'm ready to try a new strain. I have a quarter sized print of GT that is WAY light. I tried to use half the print and got contams in all jars so I am assuming maybe it's a bad print. I'm pretty comfy with using coir and WBS atm as it's pretty simple. Wanting to switch up to cyans but not just yet. I feel like I should get another strain under my belt and then move up to agar work before attempting cyans. What do?

I would focus on expanding from where you're at now Maybe real pasterization of straw, manure, spent coffee grounds, etc... Do you have a flowhood? Have you played with agar and isolates? Do you prefer LCs or GLCs? Perfected your G2G ratios?
I have not yet; but just the research and learning involved helps with understanding Mycology better (for me anyways).
If you are at the place of "been there, done that" with my thoughts; I'm sorry if I caused offence... Perhaps some oysters or another woodlover like Ps. Cyanescens. Maybe a complex soil dweller such as the Stropharia rugoso-annulata (aka: Wine Cap or King Stropharia or Garden Giant)
The way I see it; the sky's the limit
Be blessed
-------------------- Please assume any and all prints exchanged are "WILD" in nature; and thus, should NOT be considered ASEPTIC...
NOTE: Please excuse my brevity, as it is a bitch 'n' a half and slow as hell to type on this here phone

I would love to mess with wood lovers but as I'm still staying with a friend for awhile it's harder to do the bigger options right now. I'm currently using monotubs with hundreds of 1/4" holes and it's working miracles for fatass qp cracker B+ per flush. I was hoping to stick with the same method I'm currently using and add up gypsum but idk what strain to try out. I am considoring the garden giants for once I am into my new place though. Is that just a simple dowel procedure? And as far as a flow hood... No I do not have one BUT I have done a few G2G's and had success. Then again B+ is pretty idiot proof. Also I have not messed with LC or GLC because I have not strayed from what I know atm. My "guru" whom I met on these forums kinda up and disappeared after teaching me how to do EVERYTHING I know as of now.

Try a PE variety or Oak Ridge IMO... it doesn't matter all that much which one you choose except most people consider PE varieties higher in vitamin P. Just get some more (anything) going for the experience and learning. Oh, and definitely start getting into GLC or G2G and agar. It's easier than you might think!

what size mono you using?

I'm using 2 64qt monos right now and seeing great results. Yet to have any contams other than bacillus in the jars once and awhile. Hell been about 5 months since that too though lol

Pick a strain/race that not many people are doing right now, or if you really can't decide, write down and number what you like and then throw dart(s) at a dartboard. If you don't have a board...find some dart game and just click blindly.
I'm doing EQ and GT right meow, but I'll be doing Thai and Albino A+ next...and Pan Jamaican when I get poo lol.

This is my setup with the bottom 4" duct taped then black trash bagged then duct taped over top of that. MANY holes drilled with 1/4" bit on all 4 sides and in lid. Works great for me. I get a lb dry per tub before having to discard.

I would love to have access to those strains but I don't know what site to use for ordering the best quality syringes. I also don't know what particular strains do what. I need to do a bit more research I suppose. I'm going to continue with actives right now though as I simply don't have the space to accommodate any extra tubs atm. I'll figure something out I suppose because I'll have empty jars in a couple days.

I'll have to get with you and see about getting some prints some time. I'm not living in my own home right now so I don't want to give out the address here but pretty soon I'll be able to do something along those lines. I gotta be honest... Never heard of Oak Ridge nor x7x.

Not a problem I'm here if you need them.Do a search they are both interesting stories on the strain.I don't even know what to call x7x to be honest, its more of a experiment that x7x_x7x did by mixing two cubes and got fruits that gave pink prints in some of the fruits

Makes me think of red spore... That's pretty awesome though man. I really appreciate the info and print offers. I'll definitely be getting in touch soon.
