Martha Questions
    #14733280 - 07/07/11 08:20 PM (13 years, 6 months ago)

Hey,
It's been a while since I've grown and my method of fruiting is going to be different this time so I have a few questions.

Why does every martha tek use tubing instead of placing the humidifer directly into the storage closet? What are the advantages to using tubing v. actual placement in the closet?

Is there a particular material I should be looking for in a closet? I've seen many say they are breathable. Do I really want my fruiting chamber to breath?

How am I going to circulate air and remove CO2 build up in the martha?

Sorry if all these questions have common sense answers, but I wanted to jot them down before I forgot.

Thanks in advance,
user is ok

Its easier to put it inside.

You get back pressure from tubing it in unless you drill a hole at the base of the tubing.

And not to mention returning the humidifier when it breaks. You can take it back and have it replaced for free if you dont put all sorts of attachments on it.

Get a 5 gallon bucket from home depot and a floating fogger. Tube that into the greenhouse for an easier method that uses less water and less build up of water.

Cut slits in your greenhouse to allow the CO2 to escape

What about concerns of contaminants in the room the closet is in? How large of slits? Couldn't I just leave it slightly open? Would a fan moving air in the larger room help with FAE?
