Possible contam in jars?

Greets,
My jars are all doing wonderfully, but some of the area around the grains of rice have taken on a different color. My assumption is that the water leached some of the nutrients out, and that is the discoloration that I'm seeing. Anyone else experience this? the color is just like the rice, and it doesn't look like cobbies. Also, what is the brown fuzzy contam? I've had problems with that before.
