myc on cakes is matted down. HELP please!!!

this is my first grow and I have birthed 16 cakes. 8 were birthed 3 or 4 days after the other 8. They were in my bedroom where i had a ac on too keep cool. However the AC brought the humidity down. Therefore, I moved the SGFC in the basement where they're at perfect temp without an AC. When they were in my room I misted more to keep the humidity up which I believe was a mistake. The myc is all matted down now and nothings happening, they've looked the same now for 4 days. It's now been 10 days that the original 8 have been in there. I put one single cake in a mini "centerpiece" FC I made out of a butter tub and a big penut butter tub for the lid with perlite on the bottom. I mist the inside of the dome once a day and the myc is nice and fluffy and just noticed my first pin on there tonight. This single cake is from the second round I birthed. My question is with the 15 cakes in my sgfc eventually fruit with the matted down myc. I chilled out on the misting(once or twice a day) and fan as much as I can(6 or 7 times a day). I really hope they make it, I'll try and get some pics. My camera phone is only 5 mp and is really blurry close up. Appreciate all of your time for reading this. Thankyou!!!

Just let them dry out a bit. Your yields may be better or worse than expected, but the second flush will make up for it.

If you need to mist, just make sure to mist the sides of the tub as to stay away from the over saturated cakes, or just fan really good 2 times tomorrow & don't mist.
You're not going to hurt the cakes from dehydrating them a bit.
I opt for slightly lower than field capacity w/ bulk to encourage the mycelium to rage through it & the fruits to spring up like mo' fo's

Ok. Yeah I might have to mist the sides to keep rh nice and high. When I get back from work it drops a bit. I'm just amazed how the cake by itself has a pin already when it was birthed after most the other ones. As for bulk goes I spawned some cakes to hoop which is just now starting to peek through the 50/50 casing. I've also got 19qt jars of rye going great and a pint jar of rye that I want to exp. With g2g. I'm so pumped for everything. I can wait to bust out the 4tier that's still in the box. I've also ordered 12 5inch deep bus tubs. I couldn't have done any of this without you guys and RR's dvd for visuals. Thanks again!!!

Use a whole quart for G2G.
Take that pint & experiment w/ a GLC.
Try out Damion5050's Elementary Coir Tek, too. It's easy & quick.
Manure is the best though.

we all feel ya.
It's easy & quick, which is why it's nice, and produces just as good of yields.
SABs are as cheap & simple or expensive & complex as you want them to be.
there's a tek in the link in my signature to how I built mine.

Good stuff man. I love the SAB tek. Seems easy to follow and I already have most the stuff to make it. Just bought some xl coveralls and silicone last week. (And a dremmel which will work well for the holes. I can spend hours getting lost in ace hardware and walk out with no more money. LOL. I'll pm you if I have any ?'s while I build it. Just need to get another rubbermaid as my only two have holes on all 6 sides. I like what you said about not throwing anything away in this hobby. Great tip! Thanks again, you've been more than helpful.
