This has gotta be bacteria, right? [pics]

I'm pretty sure I'm just confirming the unwelcome reality here, but I was hoping to get a second set of eyes on the evidence.
I inoculated 7 jars and 2 LME/dextrose liquid cultures with ~1 cc each of Golden Teacher almost 4 days ago, and I'm almost certain the syringe (purchased from a vendor here) was contaminated with bacteria.
Both LCs are cloudy to the point of being almost opaque. Also, I spotted some slimy-ness where some of the grains split open. I used my macro lens to capture this to magnify the grains.

I'm pretty confident it isn't the fault of my sterile technique. Everything was inoculated in a glovebox and the needle was flame-sterilized between each injection. In addition, in the same session I had inoculated 2 LCs with an R44 syringe (seen on the right in first picture above) and they've taken right off. (It's not obvious from the picture, but the liquid is clear where there isn't mycelium) Also, I used that same syringe about 18 hours before in a separate session to inoculate 7 jars, and they're all doing fantastic:

Final question: Assuming the syringe were contaminated with bacteria, why would none of the spores have even put up a fight once inoculated? Does the bacteria feed off of the spores and render them non-viable?

The wet spots on the close up pictures do look like they possibly could be bacteria. However it's not so obvious that I can say for certain. The bottom picture looks fine. I'd just keep an eye on them if it's bacteria you'd be able to smell it quite quickly. If it is bacteria it's most likely caused by having your grain to wet.

Not claiming that I'm perfect, but the moisture content of the grains should be fine. I've been following RR's video to the letter and it's never let me down.
The thing I want to point out is that mycelium is growing vigorously in both R44 liquid cultures and all 7 R44 jars after 5 days, and both GT liquid cultures look cloudy and there is NO mycelium growing in any jars. What I'm mostly curious about is the reason for the latter -- why there isn't any mycelium growing at all.
