Stalled Jars > Outdoor Patch

I'm getting ready to make myself a shroom hole in the back yard. Now, I knocked up 12 quart WBS jars and about 5 of them are really lagging behind the rest. I see myc in all of them but it doesn't seem to be doing very much the last three days or so. The other 6 or 7 jars are just flying along perfectly. At this rate the ones that are speed racing along will be done in about 5 days but I doubt the rest will be close.
I'm thinking that if the jars that are going slower don't move much in the next few days they are probably contaminated somehow. My dilemma, though, is that since I do see mycellium (some slow jars have more substantial amounts than others), would it be okay to put these in my outdoor patch all the same? This is my first time going the outdoor route, mostly out of curiosity, and I've read that myc outdoors doesn't have the same tendency to contaminate.... Is it worth it to save the good amount of mycellium I can see in these stalled/possibly contam'd grain jars?
Danke shurn.

I do just that with my stalled/slightly contaminated jars with great success....So much success, in fact, that I wont need to grow any cubes for a few years - my first outdoor flush was about 2 lbs dry, lol.

Do you mind telling me a bit about what you did, the amounts and kinds of spawn/substrate? I like soaking up information

Over the winter I made a bunch of jars to get an indoor greenhouse going. I wanted some cubes but I didn't want to grow them...for long, lol. So I made enough jars that I went through like 60 pounds of grain because I wanted to get a nice stash and then quit growing them.
So, I used all the best jars indoors. All the jars that contaminated, stalled, or lagged behind I put outside. Outdoors I dug shallow holes of all different sizes and depths in shady spots around the yard.
I took horse poo and soaked it with water in a 5gal bucket. I squeezed it out some as I layered it into the hole with the spawn. I layered it just the same as with an indoor substrate only I used less care about water content. No pasteurization was used. After I had made up the beds I covered some with leaves, some with straw, some with hay, some with no covering at all.
As for the amount of spawn per bed, it just depends - I used all different sized beds. I would say I used about 1 part spawn to about 5 parts substrate. Some beds I used a quart others I used 2-4 half gallon jars.
I don't really have many pics of outdoor flushes but here is a small bed made from 1qt jar of spawn.
