Why don't they put an ID slot for computers?

Like an ATM machine, insert your ID into the slot built onto a computer that way it loads all your info for any accounts you make, that way no one can lie, unless of course someone finds a way around it.

like fake id? if you can get get fake id chips for passports i'm sure whatever id chip the computer uses can be faked.

How would it be more ideal than passwords/pharses and secret questions?  I don't see any benefit to it and there's added security holes in that your ID can be physically stolen on top of the risks that passwords have. They have ways to make sure you're you without compromising your idenity as well. Authenticators that send a limited time passcode to a moble device are pretty popular for online games and banks. Still can be hacked via man in the middle, same like ID cards/scanners could.

Those systems already exist. Except they don't use your regular ID, but a dedicated ID badge, that can also be used for access to buildings. Some of the banks where I live use these systems. But usually still in combination with a password, otherwise it would be too easy to just nick someone's badge and gain access to everything.
