Myc or mold? (pics)

Hey guys! I just put my pf cakes in my fc 4 days ago. I had to leave for the weekend so I just misted a bunch of times until it was at 90% and then left. Today I came back to see some weird fuzzy white stuff growing on each cake. I think it might be cobweb mold? but I'm not sure because this is my first time growing. And if it is mold, how do I deal with it? Also, in the 2nd pic, the mystery fuzzy on top of the cake is less poofy than it was before because I just misted.
On a side note, how do I get my humidity up to 95%? It's been stuck at 90%.

Looks like mycelial blobbing, and your growth looks a bit midgetised IMO.

The pictures posted after yours are there as a real reference to cobweb. No big deal being afraid and concerned but you shouldn't be. ;D

oh cool. what do you mean by midgetised? edit: nvm lol yeah i agree Do you guys know how to get that extra 5% of humidity so that I can finally reach 95%? I'm just doing a normal FC, not shotgun.

Always possible your hygrometer is wrong. Let us know what type it is (analog, digital, etc...) where you got it and how much you paid. The best kinds come from cigar shops and are able to be calibrated whereas cheap ones don't have anything. If you're that worried consider taping up some holes that could help.

That's very true hahaha. I got it for like 2 bucks from Wal-mart and the hygrometer is the kind where there is a strip of metal curled up into a circle behind the face. And does cigar shops mean smoke shops? Why would they carry hygrometers? Thanks!

No, when I say cigar shop I mean cigar shop. Cigars need to be kept at high humidity and anyone who owns a humidor probably owns a nice adjustable analog hygrometer too for about $15-20.
The hygrometer you have is not to be trusted. I have a similar one that also has a thermometer. It's now in the garbage. Something about a little coil of metal resting on a metal toothpick doesn't sound accurate to me. ;D
If you followed the tek for your sgfc you're probably fine to be completely honest. I'm the stage right now of worrying about my RH but stopped worrying because everyone tells me to.

No hygrometer needed. Make shotgun fc, per tek. Perfect conditions. Fae is more important than high humidity.

Your myc looks funny because of stagnant air. Your mushrooms are stringy and thin capped because of co2 build up. You need more FAE. Don't worry about the hydrometer. When it reads around 90%, you'll know it's close enough.
