DEFINITIVE nesco dehydrator drying temperature and time guide

I just got my nesco professional 700 watt dehydrator in the mail today. It came with an instruction manual. I just wanted to post this up real fast. I hope you enjoy it.
In case the picture ever gets deleted or something, here are the instructions: Preparation: Clean with a soft brush, don't wash. Average drying time: 4-10 hours. Uses: Rehydrate for soups, meat dishes, omelets or frying. *Dry at 90 degrees Fahrenheit (32.222 degrees Celsius) for 2 to 3 hours, then increase temperature to 125 degrees Fahrenheit (51.667 degrees Celsius) and dry for remaining time.
Vegetables will vary in their drying times. Blanching decreases drying times, but not all vegetables are blanched. Again, the average drying times in the following table are general and depend on different variables. For more accurate times, keep records of your own specific experiences.

So you use the "mushrooms" setting, yes?
-------------------- You make it all possible. Doesn't it feel good?

There is no "mushroom" setting, nor is there a setting for any specific type of vegetable/fruit/herb, etc. There is only a temperature setter which goes from 95 degrees fahrenheit to 160 degrees fahrenheit, at least for MY specific model. My model is the "FD-75PR 700-Watt" dehydrator. Hope that helps.

Yes, I know. It's a little contradictory that the manual states 90 yet the device starts at 95. Wutev's.
The manual was copyrighted in 1998. It probably hasn't been updated since. 5 degrees shouldn't make a difference.
