Can Rye berries be pasturized, or must they be sterilized?
    #14702205 - 07/01/11 02:40 PM (13 years, 6 months ago)

I've read countless teks and also purchased the dvd set from RR, however; can rye berries be pasturized, or is it a must as far as  being pressure-cooked?

PCed for 90-120 @ 15 PSI.

if you're using bags do 1 hour @ 15 PSI per bag for anything over 1 bag. 1 bag is 90 minutes by it self.

steam sterilization...Check the center of your BRF jars when you're doing them next time. I guarantee they're over 160F
