White Fuzz on Mushroom Base 1

I'm a first time grower. I have two fully colonized cakes that I put into a small PF-style terrarium with a perlite layer at the bottom 3 days ago. I dunked the cakes before putting them into the terrarium. One cake is hasn't produced any mushrooms yet (I know this is normal since it's only been a few days) - the other cake has one mushroom growing from the bottom of the cake that is now taller than the cake itself, but there are no other pins or mushrooms to be found (which I also know is probably fine, since it's only been a few days).
I'm concerned because white fuzz has begun to grow on the base of my mushroom and is very quickly working it's way up. I've looked at pictures of cobweb mold, and I don't think that's what it is (although it could be). It looks more like mycelium to me - white and fuzzy! Would having the substrate too wet or too dry cause this? I can't imagine it's too dry, as I dunked the cakes before putting them in the terrarium, and I've been spraying/fanning it 3 times per day, and there is enough moisture to condense on the plexigas inside of the terrarium (but not so much as to leave droplets of water on the cakes). I don't have a humidity monitor so there is no way to know for sure (I'm planning on getting one).
I'm sorry if this is a newbie question - I did try to search the site for similar posts/FAQ but didn't find anything about fuzzies growing on the base of mushrooms. Thanks!

This is completely normal and is indicative of high humidity which is needed on PF cakes. Considering that, looks like you're gonna have a good harvest!
You may want to fan more and mist a bit less, or fan more and mist the same amount. More fresh air the better.
Get some pics!

Thanks for the reassurance. I was so worried that I was going to fail my first attempt after coming so far! Hopefully I won't. It's amazing how fast the one mushroom that I have so far is growing. I didn't realize they grow so quickly!

Yes. that's all the whole stem is, actually. Just mycelium.
