Question on stone/rocks
    #14689011 - 06/28/11 10:16 PM (12 years, 10 months ago)

Isn't sand and metals just debri from the core of the earth? (Over time)

So if you could scan it's core you can tell what rock is where on the surface(Such as gold dust)
- Like 1000 tons of sand had 10 tons of gold dust?

What is inside was once on the outside

Am I right, I need some insight on this.

Uhm, that would be putting it a bit too simply. Yes, tectonic movements result in material from beneath the crust bring up liquid material from deeper regions in some places. But that material is then eroded away by the influence of water (oceans, rain, rivers) and air (wind), causing them to end up pretty much all over the place.

But for the sake of entertainment..

I already E-mailed this to a well known guy that is good with the subject of the Ancient Egyptians, they possibly hid their gold by putting grains of gold intermixed with the sand.

lol that doesn't seem like the best way to store gold.

Similar to - "Hey guys, lets throw our gold into this volcano so that when it erupts rock will be deposited with veins of gold in it.  No one will find it then!"

The purpose of having gold to view/use it.  If you spend a lot of effort purifying something why would you want to spend a ton of effort to hide it in a way that would require as much, if not more effort as purifying it in the first place, to extract it from its "hiding place."

It seems like your interest isn't really related to your initial questions.  Hiding particles of gold in a lot of sand doesn't really have to do with geology.  As far as I know there would be no easy way to remove gold particles from sand so I don't think they would hide it in this way.

If you're wondering if the earth would reabsorb the gold, yes it would, but if it was deposited in the sand when ancient Egyptians were around it probably would still be in the sand today, but more diluted and probably covered by a lot more sand.  It will be 10s of thousands or 100s of thousands of years before it is reabsorbed into the mantle and even longer for it to be redeposited on the surface by whatever means.

I see so due to the magnetic field that emits it slowly pulls the 'colder' metals back into itself like regeneration.

They were viewed as part god, could they not of thought up of such a scheme? They built the pyramids to show off their intelligence, IMO. And their heiroglyphics were proof of their 'creativeness'.

Are you trolling?
Or seriously asking about plate tectonics?

'cause I don't want to type it all out just for your lulz.

A scheme to hide their gold?
Dude, look at your avatar- that's how they hid their gold. They didn't.

This has to be a troll, tard, or tripper.
I'm done here, this thread is useless.

If you think about it they figured everything out through examination, is that not pure intuition?

Just making conversation, not trolling.

Trying to 'connect' someone else onto to my thought path.

Gold is not very magnetic, and it's only magnetic if it makes up 80% or less of an alloy with a metal that is actualy  naturally magnetic.  What would happen, like doc t inferred, is tectonic movement would pull it back into the earth after eons.

Personal I don't believe gods exist, but maybe they possessed some power of alchemy or something, but I doubt it.  I believe that the Egyptians were genius engineers that modern day people lack respect for, always explaining their works as designed by enteties other than the Egyptians themselves.

Anyways, your claims are fairly uninformed, I'd suggest looking around Wikipedia for Egyptian history and metals...

Uninformed, that's why I'm asking/taking others insight on these things. Just using a different way to find information than using google.

No. Quite the opposite.

Good luck.
