Yeah man, I'm listening as well. I'm currently doing Sahaja Yoga twice a week with a good teacher attempting to awaken mine, although losing a little faith in it.

Directed towards me?
Yes I have, but only during Vipassana.

What kind of symptoms have you been experiencing?

well I had it while tripping on a low'ish dose of ketamine...i had been meditating for about 3 hours in savasana (corpse pose) feeling all tension and energy blocks in my body...the minds immediate inclination is to resist the tension (thats what it is in the first place...and typically everytime it comes to your mind your mind once again resists it and 'solidifies' it as tension in your body)..I was very patient mindful and deliberate as I felt the tension and the blocks and while I definitely did not get close to all of them i dealt with the biggest more immediately hindering blocks
while feeling my tension and energy blocks as deliberately and openly accepting as possible I all of a sudden felt a 'familiar' yet previously unexperienced at this level very distinct rise of energy from the base of my spine...it felt very light and easy but very direct and forceful...it rose up my back at once and i immediately got kinda excited lol...shortly regaining focus i continued my meditation/concentration...a couple other waves of this distinct direct energy shot up my spine but they always stopped at my throat/neck...i sensed that if this energy successfully ascended up my neck then it would go through my third eye then out the top of my head to my crown chakra where i would have a spiritual orgasm'ish experience...
kundalini awakening is a fancy mystical name for it but if you want to keep it 'practical' and avoid the metaphysical i think its really just the spine awakening and the central nervous system becoming aware of itself rather than having the mind and its preoccupations and resistances influence bind the CNS
symptoms?
well my spine pops pretty damn often...from the base to the neck and all along the sides...as i start to breathe deeper and fuller i am gradually freeing myself of physical constriction of my breathing pathways...i also had a weird sort of rebirth about a week after this experience where i was reduced to tears without a clear cause and my mind was filled with images of my mother giving birth to me and feelings of how much she loved me so that whole experienced has undoubtedly ushered in many novelties into my life as well..

I always thought that a kundalini awakening happened for a length of time rather then just in one setting. Thanks fr sharing your experience brother, I really appreciate it! Sounds like a really cool experience.

i don't know anything about reiki (or even trust its legitimacy as i've never personally experienced it) but apparently its like reiki from the opposite direction...whereas reiki is an intelligent conscious energy cleansing your energy channels from above while kundalini is from from below...i think it is a length of time thing for the kundalini to work its course but that was just the awakening...its a process and like i said once the energy works its way up through the crown is when the apex occurs...its been said that the only way to acquire divine knowledge is through kundalini ascending through the crown

I know a lot about kundalini just didn't realize you were talking about just the awakening aspect of it, I must have misread your post and assumed you meant it all started and ended at once. So are you experiencing other symptoms now that it has been awakened?
