Pressure cooking time for just syringes?

If there is a syringe that needs to be sterile, Jane usually throws it into the pressure cooker with her jars, and this seems to work well for her. But she asked if it was needed to pressure cook the syringes for a full hour at 15pepsi... the Karo tek can be done with only 30 minutes (maybe 20) so would she only need to do 30 minutes, or can she do an even shorter time (like maybe only 10 minutes)

I agree with fugu. When I PC'd my syringes, the metal got too hot and melted the fucking things...
Maybe if you take the metal off and wrap that in tin-foil seperately...

I nuke some water for 8 minutes then suck it up with the syringe and push it out into the sink several times.

PC for about 15-20 minutes at 15psi, BD syringes hold up well, terumo and monoject arent as durable....terumo have a reputation of melting. if you can get Luer-Loc syringes there are metal hub needles available for them...I have some in stainless and in aluminum... never buy another one again....unless you loose it or something ....
the stainless one are about 30-60 bucks each unless you get a specialty one aluminum is about the same as a PP or plastic hub
