small fruit problem again
    #14673361 - 06/26/11 02:12 AM (13 years, 6 months ago)

hi! i really really need some advice now. its my second grow, i birthed 3 cakes. they colonized 13 days, i let them sit for a week after that. yesterday veils broke on 1 cake and this morning same thing with other 2 cakes. but fruits are only about 3cm long and cap diameter about 1cm. stems were tough not hollow like in my first grow. but still i get less shrooms.

now i tell about my first grow-
i lived with parents then it was about 2 years ago so it had to be stealth i had very bad light the fc was under my bed, it had too many holes but no holes in the bottom. they didnt get enough fae and i think rh was lower too (i had only 2 inches of prelite) and temperature about 17c. i got about 135grams fresh.

how is that possible that i got more shrooms then when conditions werent good like now?

i have a. better fc , more light + indirect sunlight, fc is 3 inches from the ground 5 inches of perlite and so on.

link to my grow log: www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/14615674

Could be genetics if you're conditions are good. Some strains perform differently through out their flushes, the next one could have monsters. Don't lose hope yet and be ready to clone when you get a good one so ya don't have to go through the small ones again.

Good luck.

i got these spores from a guy in estonian cannabis forum. cant order anything here, if customs discover spores they wait a month or two and come bust you. this guy had small shrooms too but he thought because he was away from home like 2 weeks and his fruits didnt get enough fae and no misting also.  i printed my caps and gave 1 to my friend he used monotub setup w/ hpoo, corn and stuff hes fruits were very normal sized.

I know that on the TC it won't get big on cakes, but on bulk...they get huge. May just be the way it is for them. Try a mono with them in it and see how they do.

He means to let the cakes stay in the jars longer after they appear to reach 100% colonization - or before putting them into the fruiting chamber.  It is recommended to add an additional 10 days (or more).

Also - you can buy spores from vendors that are supported here.  There is no way customs will be able to detect spores.

customs wont mess with your spores, unless they regularly check YOUR mail.

if they dont know who you are they dont care.

and spores are legal where i'm from.

theire legal here too but its illegal to bring or order them here.  this guy i know ordered spores,  then one day police was behind the door they sprayed pepper spray to his cat because he was "distracting" narc dog work.
they usually open packages from england, neherlands, canada.. hoping to find cannabis seeds.
