very glad to hear you're feeling better!
i'm not sure if everyone is bisexual, i don't see it in myself personally (maybe i'm repressing it?), but i'm not very sexual anyways (maybe i'm repressing that too)
you mention being "shaman" - do you mean two-spirited? how some shamans traditionally were both genders?
has your shcizophrenia cleared up since you made this discovery?

lol dude you gotta chill
you gotta realize that sexuality is a decision you make, either way, not something you're born into.
if you had control of your thoughts that stream across your mind, then you could control whether any of them pertained to sexuality at all.
in that case any choice to be made in regards to sex would be that, a choice.
all i'm sayin is you don't gotta sweat it either way man, it's just some erotic fantasy you have....
"the famous Kama Sutra states that homosexual sex "is to be engaged in and enjoyed for its own sake as one of the arts."

I believe this is the beginning of something great, rempty!

and this last week my schizo and bipolar has been really acting up but in an excited sort of way and not as scary. i suspect a clear of my schizo coming up... i'm very excited, maybe too much. life officially makes no sense anymore but it is very liberating
Ah man, that's great.
Did it seem like the scary stuff was necessary to unlock something in yourself?
I think it is likely I went through an identical situation. The years are a bit different though (schizo from 19-23)

circastes I think you might be referring to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anima_and_animus
Personally I think that since everyone is naturally attracted to pleasureable experiences including intimacy and sexual contact, the default state for human beings would be bi-curious. I can remember times growing up doing the "ill show you yours if you show me mine", with other males, before I was even aware of homosexuality and what it was.
Instinct is for survival of the species and naturally dictates heterosexual sex, but feelsgoodman is feelsgoodman For instance, my dog has a habit of trying to have sex with another male dog whenever they see/play with each other. No doubt he would have sex with a female dog also, for pleasure and to procreate. If the dog was hit or sprayed with water every time he did it...then he'd probably stop (pavlov training). In this way I think humans are programmed to be hetero, by repressing any thoughts which don't hold up to the "vanilla sexuality" society programs - kind of like your own pavlov training, punishing or forcing out any "alternate" views to condition yourself.
Beats me if its the whole cause of schizophrenia but repression of this sort could cause a lot of insecurities, suffering, etc.
Explains why when "straight" girls get drunk, its not uncommon for them to kiss another girl, thanks to the lowered inhibitions. It seems sexuality is largely a human/ego paradigm - in nature, there are plenty of beasts which have both homo and hetero sex and yet still manage to pass on their genetics for another generation.

Is everyone bisexual?
I just came to terms with it myself last week... was confused for ever... feels so good to be sure of it finally.
Wrong forum dude.
Otherwise I get what you mean. I felt much better when I accepted my own bisexuality about a year ago. I don't know about everyone being bisexual, but I believe everyone is capable of being feminine and masculine. I also don't know how that would correspond to sexual orientation, but I'm guessing it does to some degree. Attraction isn't only physiological, but also mental and you know what they say about opposites attracting each other. Although for sexual preference I'm guessing physiological attraction is a prerequisite, genetic and different in each individual. You can still love someone and not want to fuck them .
p.s. new york state just legalized gay marriage

man its sad that you had to suffer for this. Being bi is not a big deal... if anything it ought to be default as mentioned in this thread.
Im not sure if this uncertainty is the basis for schizophrenia.. but it would be interesting if it turned out to be the case!

I can say pretty confidently that each person is a combination of male and female energy. Some are more one than the other, which in some cases lead people to believe they are the opposite sex trapped inside the wrong body. In Hinduism and Sahaja Yoga the concept of Kundalini, the energy that rests at the base of the spine that can be awoken and joined with the energy of the mind, IS female in nature. The mind/mental energy is figuratively speaking, male, and the emotional energy, female.
It depends greatly on brain chemistry, but also on your upbringing and how close you were with your mother and father, or if you had a suitable mother-figure or father-figure in their stead, or not.

Not true man, come on. Can you explain to me why it is exactly that you are attracted to a nice pair of titties or a juicy pussy? Your brain is wired for it.
Or how bout why a gay man, who is fully functional sexually, is not in the least bit attracted to women?
I can't explain that. I consider it an anomaly of nature, but still natural nonetheless. Therefore, acceptable in my book.
