This site usually gives me a "script timed out" error message when I try uploading my images. Can anyone recommend a more reliable site or software that would do the job ???

there is a jpg resizing power toy for WindowsXP that is pretty sweet... http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp

There may be similar versions for other versions of windows, check out the 'downloads' section on windows.com.
