Opaque agar

So recently Iv noticed that some of my agar dishes just wont grow anything, these nonviable dishes are different from the rest in that they are opaque as opposed to the viable agar which seems to be translucent.
It seems like there is a layer on top of those agar dishes I cant see through, its not an obvious contam as these dishes never change color, despite the fact that I cant see through a layer coating the top of the agar that top is the same color as the rest.
Has anyone else had this problem? Could it be due to condensation, the water wearing out the agar or something to that effect?
Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that I stored dishes together in sets of 12 using large ziplock bags. Just a few days ago I changed that up and started storing dishes individually in sandwich size ziplock bags fresh out of the box after reading a post by RR, maybe its a contam Iv never heard of thats taken advantage of the situation and cross contaminated as many dishes as possible as this has been happening in many dishes.

Bacterial or yeast infection. Kinda looks like a milky slick on top of the agar? Try opening one up and give the lid a very light smell to see if it smells like bread baking or smelly feet. Good luck

^ what he said. In all my travels, I never found a different reason for cloudy agar.
Also, while clean, I don't think ziploc bags are sterile, and I don't think they take the PC too well. I've always stored them in the sleeve they came in, with a possible wrapping of parafilm if your really concerned. If your careful with your tek, the inside of the sleeve will stay as sterile as the dishes are

What Agar Recipe are you using? Did you shake it well? Did the dish's look different as soon as yout poured them??
Some of my dishes varied in colour and consistancy when i didnt swirl it sufficently before pouring

I suspected as much but the lack of a color change confused me, they are all the same coming out of PC
Im using a ratio of 1g LME: 1g agar-agar: 50ml distilled water
I didnt shake well come to think of it, its cramped in my GB but ill plan on it next time; how much of a difference does it make? The only difference I ever notice is the last few pours being thicker due to cooling

Ziplock bags are completely sterile out the box... This can be demonstrated by cutting an agar wedge and placing it in a bag and watching it NOT contaminate...
