So the poor man terrerium is being used for first cake birthed. Others are almost done and I plan on getting something a little more efficient later. But in the meantime its poor man.

I have verm layer on the bottom and have been spraying it with lite mist couple times a day. The other day i accidently (i wasnt thinking) sprayed the cake directly and now its all bruised a redish/puprle.

Just curious, how much will this set me back?

Clean water should not harm your cakes... what was in your water?

just regular tap with a lil H2O2. i was under the impression that direct spraying would bruise cakes. I hope these are bruises and not contams!

You should be using perlite to humidify your terrarium.

"Redish" is a bit worrisome of a description. Bruising is normally bluish or bluish green.
