Usually you want 6500k, and I usually set 12/12.

No, that has nothing to do with it. 6500k is the spectrum, the color the light puts out,
you want a bright blueish/white bulb. The lower the number, the softer
the color, yellows, soft white, ect. If you (sorry) *don't* have a 6500k bulb, you
should try to get indirect sunlight 12 hrs a day. If you can't do that,
stick with what you got 12 on 12 off, and hope for the best.

It doesn't have to be exactly 12/12, but you should try to keep it close.
I mean, I've left my grow in complete darkness before when I went on a
vacation, thinking they were done growing, and they still grew. Lighting
isn't the most important thing you need to worry about, Fresh Air, humidity
and evaporation are the biggest pinning triggers. But, none the less, you
should have a good light schedule. You could probably even do
13on11off, 14 on 10 off, 15on 9 off or 16 on 8 off. You could go the
other way with it too, but I would suggest giving it at least 10 hrs of
light a day. How much light do you get per day?

We have ten hours a day of sunlight.
Ill leave my fc in my bedroom, as it has windows on two sides, and will have light soon as the sun comes up

Sounds like a plan, make sure it doesn't get direct sunlight on your substrate

mushrooms benifit from having a natural light cycle just like we do. Im sure that 24 hoiur light can cause some performace decrease.
doesnt have to be exact, as long as theres a clear day night period. Some people just switch it on when they get up, then turn it off when they go to bed.
