Where does San Pedro grow naturally?
    #1464148 - 04/16/03 04:53 PM (15 years, 2 months ago)

My friend was wondering where he could pick up some pachanois growing in the wild, in the united states. He doesn't live in an area of the country where they can grow outdoors all year and doesn't have the indoor space for them in the winter, but he has heard that in the midwest they are very common. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks!

they grow wild in the peruvian andes. you are unlikely to find them growing wild in the US but are certainly likely to find them growing cultivated in an urban and suburban setting in areas where they can grow well out of doors.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it.
If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.
