Thanks for all the replies, everyone.
The tubs are just finishing up, but in the meantime, I'm doing a print giveaway. Everyone in this thread gets one, by the way. Still, see the marketplace thread below, and post in there. Thanks!

Lookin' good! I'm gonna try to grow them next. What did you find was the most difficult thing compared to cubes.

They were as easy as cubes. The only thing I didn't like was dealing with the manure. The kind that I used, a store-brand composted cow manure from Lowe's, stank. Good results, but still. Hoffman's brand manure, on the other hand, doesn't have that smell, and worked great in my mini-tubs http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/14576636
Overall, they're just as easy as cubes.
inoculate spawn
Wait
Add to pasteurized manure/vermiculite in a monotub
Let it sit there until colonized
Case it with 50/50 peat moss and vermiculite
Fruit
That simple.

Yeah, I've got more than 30, so it'll work. I want to make sure people see the marketplace thread, though, because there has been a breakthrough in psilocybin research, and I'd like more people to know about that.

I do have to add (if only to cover my own difficulties ;0) that Pan mycelium seems a tad more fragile than cube to me.
For example, Pans can stall when shaken.
The Captain is just getting good at this stuff. :0)
It demands poo and thin casing layers too, but these are not a problem. ...it just makes them seem more finicky.
Take care,
JD

Well, it did happen to me.
The trouble is that I may have had weak spawn to begin with. It is hard to be certain. I was just getting going, and should have put off Pans at that time.
Good luck,
JD

You're right, and weak spawn makes it even more likely. I had 2 out of 10 quarts of shaken Panaeolus cyanescens not completely recover, but 6 out of 10 quarts of Panaeolus suphanburi/cambodginiensis die after shaking, with the other 4 not completely recovering.
The suphanburi/cambo's were from old prints, though, and grew very slow and weak on agar, and similarly slow and weak on the spawn. The pan cyans, though, were very aggressive on agar and rye, and from new prints.
