This dude is hot like sauce. I'm not sure why he hasn't blown up yet. Genre-wise there are elements of electro, glitch, dubstep, etc. I'm still discovering his gems as I go along, feel free to post similar artists or more tracks.

Holy shit balls captain, thanks for that recommendation!
Their dub effect sounds remind me of Opiuo. Are you familiar?

This is slightly different, but I'll keep it within this thread. Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks this is beautifully delicious, artfully soulful, and plain funk nasty?

tiny face is one of the sickest tracks of the last 10 years.
Hey could i ask you guys a favor? I posted in the music forum and didn't get any responses.
Recently i started making music that you guys would be the target audience for. I don't really have people to comment on my music, and i thrive on criticism and praise.
I've got a couple tracks that are pretty close to done and need feedback on them from people with your musical tastes.
If you could give me feedback, i will owe each of you a favor of equal value, pay-able however you wish.
In particular i'm interested in what people Don't like, or what sounds wrong with my music, so i dunno, be brutal. (sorry, haven't gotten around to naming stuff properly yet).
something something
experiment 33
Something happened
edit: I'm trying imagine a day when i can sit outside bassnectar shows with my massive boombox and sell cds as a hobby.

Okay harsh and brutally honest just like you asked:
something something- Too long and drawn out for not ever going anywhere. I don't mind sitting through a slow build up as an intro but you better drop the fucking hammer at some point and you never do.
experiment 33- Same as above and I think it would benefit with a heavier bass instead of all the mids. Design a deeper heavier bass sound and then crush it.
something happened- It didn't hold my attention. You gotta hook me first then once you have me I want you to rock my world because if you don't I'm just not gonna give a fuck.

Man thanks for listening and responding. By heavier do you mean lower end or heavier like more distorted/dissonant? I haven't got around to a final mixdown, but one thing i have no sense for is appropriate low end. I usually start out a whole project being a muddy sub fest, come back to it a couple days later or listen to it on crappy speakers and go "WTF is this supposed to be!?" and turn the low end way down.

Can't really help on the production side of things I'm just a spun out rager. I do know that to get good clean bass sounds you gotta warp and master your tracks and that is an art form in and of itself.

And this is a bit different from what you guys are posting, but for those who are not familiar with Amon Tobin...
