Microwaving BRF? How much do you know?

So.. I'm bored and waiting for the silicone to dry and read a post about someone microwaving their BRF in a plastic container.
Does anyone have the whereabouts of a tek that I could follow?
I've been super interested and wanted to give it a go, but I've searched the forum for the past two days and found nothing..
If you know anything about it.. post here! I'll try to get a tek going if I can piece together a good amount of info. Oh and if I have a successful run!

Search bar: "microwave brf" should yield sufficient results for your query.
Unless you don't have a pressure cooker, and are getting really desperate I wouldn't bother to be honest. You can pick up a small PC which will be fine for half pint jars for pretty cheap these days.

Why would you microwave it when it can be done so easily in a normal pot?

Microwaves are not suitable. Parts of the substrate will heat up well beyond the boiling point, while others remain cool. Use steam. RR

It works well for bulk substrate. It has to be mixed in between(Risky), because cold unsterilized clumps will be there(another risk).
I'm still a noob so

So in microwave sterilization are you relying on the microwaves themselves to kill contaminants or upon steam created as a by-product of microwaving to kill contaminants?

The microwave itsself I believe? I stand corrected though, I'm looking to microwave some BRF paste myself and was curious about this.
I will post my results and maybe make a TEK if all is sucessful.
