 Need some advise from the wise people of the shroomery

(The following is all a made up story and is not true)
Ok so my friend is getting some lsd from his friend in another state that is coming down to visit. Lsd is very hard to come by so I wish to buy a decent amount (10 hits). Is it a bad idea to buy this much without knowing the quality of lsd? 
I mean how often is acid actually BUNK?
Also this same friend is going to try to start a shroom grow. What safety things should I tell him beside the NUMBER ONE rule; TELL NOONE?

I'd almost go as far as saying more "acid" that I've seen being sold is bunk than not. So I'd definitely try it first, not that 10 hits is a massive purchase.

Might as well buy the stuff. You want it, you got the cash and the only risk is you getting bunk stuff. I'd do it. It's not a bad idea. As you've said you're possibly in a dry spell. So there's no harm in getting something rather than nothing.

Its pretty random. For the sake of assumption, assume your odds are 50/50 and ask yourself if you wanna spend the money on that.
most likely, bad acid will be weak or RCs. RCs you'll still trip, weak meh you'll have a bunch so you can take more.
Saw DOC online recently for like 200$ a gram. massive facepalm.

No effects or its an RC which can make it more difficult to tell.
And I don't know  I guess most people who'd buy LSD aren't the kill you over 30$ type.

$10. Thing is, his friend isn't a dealer, his friend is buying from a dealer so I have to tell him the amount that I want him to buy for me. So I'm kinda obligated to pay his friend aren't I?
The two people are getting a ten strip for themselves, maybe this shows they have faith in their source?
Idk I guess a $100 for ten hits is a gamble, but whats life without risk?
I'll ask him in person tomorrow how confident he is that hes getting legit acid.

yea $10 seems a little steep but I mean...price varies based on supply/demand so 
it might be worth it since you said acid is hard to come by. Worst cases scenario, you are out $100, with 10 hits of shitty acid.
best case you get 10 awesome hits of acid 
worth the gamble imo

well i think people do it cause it's easy...i mean lots of times acid is sold in sugar cubes or on paper, and is invisible...
think, all you have to do is buy perforated blotter paper and sell it. The profit margin is HUGE because you have basically no expenses...
