I really fancy that flowhood too.  Seems so cheap.  I notice on the site it states the flow rate as 'much higher than 0.5m/s' - has it seemed too high to you at all?  Can you easily use a lighter in front of it?  Does it have a pre-filter?

Hope you don't mind me asking but all the info around seems to be on American models or DIY jobs but this one looks like a sweet off-the-shelf option for anyone in Europe.

I looked at that shop a few days ago. I also found the prices very attractive (for European standards) but what I found a bit strange and off-putting is how there is no information about the company etc on the homepage. But it's great to see you received your item.
