Is that love? Sounds like animal instinct TBH.
Some people do not want human affection or material comfort. I'm curious to know if this list of yours is affiliated with attachments. No one can define love. I have never heard a definition of love I liked other than things people say with the intention of pointing to it; rather than explaining it.
Love seems to be Truth and fear seems to be Maya. Once one understand the balance in a non-dualistic form, there no longer needs to be fear. As a wise man once said, everything is conditional -- input is output.
Your fears are personal. If you wholeheartedly approach them and see them through, you will notice how they are merely shunned aspects of yourself. Like a kid who fears bugs or spiders or the darkness, it is a lack of awareness and/or realization. But this can't be something on the surface. Every molecule of your being must want it. As someone once said, "you must strive for it the way a drowning man strives for another breath of air".

I've never really give the concept of courage much thought before, it seems to be that courage is stupidity in the name of love.
Behaviour that is not in the interests of self preservation in the name of saving others from suffering. Of course there are different kinds of courage, intellectual courage for example might represent coming to terms with a difficult idea that threatens the security of the ego.
But I'm not too sympathetic towards the idea that courage is fear conquered by love, it's seems too romantic and dishonest.

What is fear? I think part of it is the resistance we have towards suffering. But I think there is a deeper reflection. Fear is the dark mystery within us, which we are afraid to acknowledge. It is the fear of the power within us. We get comfortable where we are in life, complacent almost. And change does not always feel good, especially when it means the death of the person you are at the moment. Little old me. "I can't do this and that" we tell ourselves. But the truth is we are constantly changing and change only comes when we push ourselves out of our comfort zones. Fear is that thick molasses that strangles your breathing. It is a belief system which beckons our notice. Courage is the part of you that dives in, knowing there is a way through.

According to Castaneda, there 4 steps to conquer in path to the knowledge of the warrior, which is our own journey to know ourselves, each other and the world, in which you can withstand, get lost in it, or you can get over, master it. Those stages are: Fear, Clarity, Power and Oldness. Oldness is unbeatable and unavoidable as a whole.
Fear is the most important, first step. Knowing that death is a tap away from your right shoulder, and that it can touch you anytime is one important learning. Death is what we are. That is necessary for a balanced life of knowledge, true knowledge of the you.
And you are another me.
Fear is the unconquered, fear is death in lay-by, fear is the unknow, fear is let it be what shouldn`t be, and let not being, what should have been.

ps: I'm not sure if those are the specifc words he uses, i'm trying to translate from portuguese and from what i remember

Fear is the dark mystery within us, which we are afraid to acknowledge. It is the fear of the power within us.
I think that is a silly notion. Go back to the first one. Why do we resist suffering? One interesting reason I can think of is that it reminds us that we are mortal and not in control or powerful. Actually we are mostly weak and at the mercy of chance, disease, decay and death. At any moment btw. I'm sure someone has died in the middle of their speech on immortality.

I'm not going to cower to external forces, like you said they are out of my control. I'm going to die trying to be all I can be.

Your misinterpreting me. I'm not intentionally going to commit suicide, but I'm going to do what I want to do.
