San pedro problems

Hey Everyone, I've got a question about some san pedro I started from seed. this one is about 6-8 months old. I've got it sitting in a window sill with a little bit of morning sun, and indirect light throughout the day. I assume this is why its so dark.
other then the colour it's shrivelling more and more. from what i know about cacti I assume it needs more water?
what do you think?

How often do you currently water it? I've had seedlings look very similar to that because of both rot and dehydration, so those would be the first two things I'd look for. Is the little fellow soft and mushy?

I'd say you definitely need more light, this is why it's fairly thin and stretched.
Water may help if it has been a while. You could give it a weak strength feeding with a low nitrogen fertilizer.

I hope this wasn't full sun. It's akin to you stripping naked in the peak of Summer and then standing out in the full sun for a day. You'd have third degree burns to your wiener at least, dead from heatstroke if you weren't lucky. If you had tanned skin then the outcome would be different.
Cactus are the same in this regard.
You want to slowly introduce it to brighter light(not direct light, especially for such a young seedling) over a period of 2/3 weeks.
Good luck and if you have questions please ask. I wouldn't want to see you lose it now.

no, just a brighter location. I'll take your advice and ease them into the sun. no improvements yet, but not getting worse.
thanks Shroomery!
