Thanks man. I think some people have managed with those cheap hygrometers. Make sure you calibrate with a we towel though. Also, since they most likey don't have screw, you will have to adjust it your self. That will probably involve taking it all apart and bending the spring or seeing if it will twist where its fixed.
As off the expensive hygrometer, It looks nice but damn thats a lot of money for something that you might drop and break the glass on(something I would do... ok done )
I ordered some from the states a while back and sold them to other members and on ebay. Cost me 5 usd each. Was 13 usd to ship though. And then since I ordered 8(the most that they could ship in the us flat rate shipping box) it made that value too high and it made me have to pay taxes and other fees. Oh well I still got mine and its still doing me well I think.

I bought plastic containers from my local ESK store, Wham brand and they were 4 for £1.20. I got my pressure cooker from a bootsale, £10 but only goes to 12 psi. It is also kind of small. I bought parboiled brown rice from Morrisons and grounded up myself. My local Garden Centre sell vermiculite and perlite for £5.99 in 10l bags (I think..) buy one get one free. From the pound store, 10 small trays, 10 by 1 metre of foil and cling film for £3 overall. I bought my FC box for 5.99 at ESK, a spray bottle for 50p at my reptile and aquarium shop, a hygrometer for £3.99 and a brick of coir for £3.95 all from the same store . I get my spent coffee grounds from the coffee I brew at home.

I got my 110 in wilkinsons last year for like 10 quid or so. Haven't seen then in there since then though. I just use the 80L wham ones from wilkys now. The 110L is too big for my spaces really. The 80L are more practical for me and my space. YMMV

That sucks about your man. I have when people steal my mine. Heres a gypsum link.
I bought a 25kg bag not that long ago. Its going to last me YEARS. I would love to sell ya some if its cheaper than you buying some more. I've hardly touched the shit. I need to get back into edibles hardcore.
Let me know how much you need. 2 or 3 kilo lasted me nearly a whole bag of rye last year I think...

They do sell jars about a quart/litre in size, but no cheaper than approx £2. They are pretty pricey but looked after properly they'll last forever.
And asda jars dont come with fancy 2 part lids!

Yeah I've been trying to stock up on Kilner jars (have been clearing out Wilkos over and over) for g2g but at £2.50 a pop this shit is really breaking the bank.
Have pondered http://www.jarsandbottles-store.co.uk/index.php/glass-jars-with-lids/glass-jar-containers.html (dam it these were half price the other day)or http://www.jarsandbottles-store.co.uk/index.php/glass-jars-with-lids/750ml-preserve-jar.html for grg -obviously would just have to use a tad less grain. 720 and 750ml, the 720 like large spag bol sauces bottles methinks.
A bit more affordable for bulk, thought could modify the lid to get past the lack of handy two part lid (cut tyvek circles and place over holes and silicon and/or tape into place so still could be shaken)
SEBs rule OK, so good I had to buy another , I used Anchor Supplies -on last visit had several still in stock but couldn't find anymore of the spinny pressure release valves.
No they don't have a gauge but you just heat up on maximum heat till valve goes mad hissing spinning round constantly (indicates pressure reached)then lower heat to medium and it will settle down

Like I said, those Jars cost about £2 anyway, Id rather pay an extra 50p but each to their own. I used to by curry sauce jars for 9p from asda, bit small, but cheap as fook!
