Fanning should drop RH! That is the point...FAE and evaporation of water from the surface of the sub(main pinning trigger!)

Plenty of holes? what does that mean? Is your SGFC properly build?

good luck!
i hope that works for you, the hole placement and diameter is crucial on the SGFC
ive made jankty ones that work, and ive seen a lot of other ppl do the same

but as far as "dialed" goes, the 2" spacing, 1/4" bit is it

im sure you could put it to math and find the exact yada yada

Dude a 3/8 bit is bigger than a 1/4 and you put them closer together than 2 inches when it should be farther like say 2.5 inches

maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe add some more perlite. i like mine at 4 inches. 3 1/2 is not far off that, but, ya know.

did you drain your perlite? is there holes in the bottom of your fc? how about the top?

fanning most certainly should drop your rh, your good there.

pictures would be niiice :excitedseal:

will not go above 82rh i think i may have too many holes, like i said i didnt have a 1/4" bit i only had a 3/16" bit so i did every 1.5 inches instead of 2 beacause smaller bit. yes all six sides are drilled and i rinsed and drained perlite thoroughly

You might have to tape up some holes, your room RH has a affect on your FC if its too dry your SGFC will be too

GoOD! i think you just need to play with it till you get it right...not really a big deal.

you know, cube grow in the wild, and that shit is NEVER 99 rh! err...maybe it is, but whatever, you get the point.

all is well, you'll do fine. you just have some tweaking to do.

Or...your hydrometer is chinese crap(like the most n00bs here have),so...wrap your hydrometer in wet towel, let it sit for an hour and then see what is saying...and that is your 100%,even if it say 82%,that IS 100%!

You don't need to measure humidity in a properly made SG Fruiting chamber. Just mist occasionally and fan occasionally. I went out of town 2 days after putting this cake in my SG Fruiting chamber, misted well before I left (was gone for a weekend) and came back to this....

Pins were smaller, this was taken this morning. I have not measured the temp or humidity. I live in the Northeast so the temps in my house are a comfy 72 degrees.
