You guys make it so complicated.
You didn't clean your house with alcohol and lysol and loads of random crap before so why start now?

Hey thanks a lot Faceyneck for all the advise I really appreciate it,I just wanted to make sure I had a proper technique before I went about sanitizing my grow area since I've never had a trich problem this bad.

Actually yea there is visible trich spores every where in the whole closet it gave everything in there a green tint that's why Im going to sanitize it a good for times still considering there to be plenty of trich spores in there i just want to cut the number of spores down so i can have a dissent chance of harvesting a flush.

Also, to link to a page, all you need to do is copy the URL ("web address," which almost always starts with http://www.something-or-other...) and then paste the URL wherever you want the link to be. You'll notice the mere presence of the http://www. yields a link in the hypertext, even though it goes nowhere.
Here's an example of an actual link:

Here's an example of a link to this thread:

I don't think I can explain it any more than this. It's sort of like trying to explain to someone how to breathe. I think you're the first person I've met who didn't know how to post a link.
Thanks again.....seems easy enough.

Hey faceyneck would you mind stating a source to your bleach vinegar disinfectant solution because I did as you said once already to my entire grow area and now im not to sure if it was a good idea because I just looked up your disinfectant method on wikipedia see here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disinfectant in the Home Disinfectants section and it say's mixing vinegar or any acid with bleach is a VERY BAD IDEA!

Well, mixing full-strength bleach and full-strength vinegar would be a very bad idea indeed.
The solution we're talking about is severely diluted. Yes, chlorine gas will be formed, but chlorine gas is released from bleach anyway, so this is not changing anything.
EDIT_ Vinegar has a very low PH, which is why it CAN be dangerous. The danger comes in dropping the PH of the bleach solution down past an unsafe threshold. Really anything lower than about 6.5.
If you mix 5% bleach and 5% vinegar with 90-95% water, the PH drops at lowest down to 6.8, a bit below neutral.
The PH of pool water is 7-7.6, which you then soak in for hours and hours without known health effects. So it's not as dangerous as people tend to think.
Dropping the PH down to 6.8-7.0 makes bleach about 80-200 times more effective as an antimicrobial agent.

Bleach, ammonia, lysol whatever... Wash it properly with soap'n'water and wipe it with whichever disinfectant you prefer afterwards. I use ammonia myself, it kills everything, evaporates quick and its dirt cheap.
I'm not too positive about isopropanol or alcohol for killing spores, you need something strongly protein dissolving to kill it.
