A thought came up yesterday..

the situation of a person looking up to their guru, is no different than how we percieve our parents when we are very young.

we tend to think they are perfect, or superior.

it is just naivety.

"gurus" are just human like the rest of us. and the things that they are able to do, we can all do.

i've read books and study guru's to a degree, they all are in agreement with you, where's the conflict?

when you reach enlightenment, you know how to get there so you share it.

when you reach samadhi in meditation, you know how to get there, so you show others.

whats wrong with that?

Bingo! Basic psychology. True for most authority figures.

That's why I started resenting most authority figures at a young age. I was all like "who the fuck are you? :crankdre:"

That marked the beginning of my troubles with religion.

The fact is that authority means very little in many cases.  I speak as an authority on this subject.:satansmoking:

All my posts in this forum are strictly fictional.
They are derived from an acute mental illness , from which i am forced to lie compulsively.
I have never induced any kind of mind altering substance in my life  and i have no intentions whatsoever of doing anything illegal.
If I have ever suggested such a thing it would have most likely been , due to my personality disorder and i probably do not remember it at all..
