gary wasn't allowed at a recent debate, so id say he's already out of the race pretty much. Ron paul backs his shit up with answers, gary is always like money money money which really goes against the grain with alot of people. I mean everyone wants to save money but they want things done for certain reasons and having money be the only reason period really seperates him from everyone. I mean they might as well just let a computer run the country im sure it can add alot quicker

Johnson - the only one with a positive favorability rating in his home state. Of course RP isn't on the pole (why do pollster ruin their own credibility by excluding candidates anyway?) GJ has a +12% point spread.
Either way, this is the opinion of the people; not other politicians or the media (except of course to exclude RP)

I think you meant it's the option of the Electoral College, not the people... Just because they win the popular vote (vote of the people) doesn't mean they win the presidency.

Oh ya, I bumped it.
I see a lot of positives in this thread and I hope you guys are still following this guy.
He's won the libertarian nomination and he WILL be on the ballot in all states.
Let's recap: Promises to submit a balanced budget to congress for 2013. Work on legalization and regulation of marijuana like alcohol. Work on abolishing the IRS, eliminating corporate and individual income tax. Replacing it with a consumption tax. Repelling the patriot act among other things threatening our civil libertys. Let's not forget he has more experience than Obama and Romney combined.
Just look at What he's done in office. Hell leaving NM with a billion dollar surplus should be enough for anyone to consider him. How is mass. doing on their deficit? Right...
Read, help spread the word. Donate if your able. If we can get him in just 1 debate he will open many eyes...

you want a president that appeals to the main stream? It's good to focus on one issue, too many political debates begin and end with a guy who starts changing the subject to try and show how addressing two issues covers one issue very well. It's like "why not create a great discussion about my dog, by talking about my cat. Well they are both pets right? They both fall in the same general category. And my cat reminds me of birds, because he chases birds. Which brings me up to my main topic, trees. The trees here... etc. blah"
I don't like those debates. Gary seems to be straight forward. If he doesn't cover enough, it's because they don't ask him enough questions. Which sucks, but I guess it's all just a poof over the eye use game anyway on t.v. They've been talking about this Colorado shit now on every political station for ever now, and on ever channel, it's the same crap
"the guy wasn't very much a psycho path, but at the same time he wasn't responsible for his actions"
"well then how is he not psychotic Jim, if he's not responsible for his actions"
"well this isn't the same as psychosis, but also clearly he isn't a serial killer, this is different from your classic pre meditated serial killer or psychosis state"
"oh please explain Jim"
it turns into these fucking fake experts, that go on about the same lying horse shit, as every other guy on those channels, some dude with a P.H.D.
Personally I think CNN is horse shit. I can't stand it. It's fake, and everyone on the channel is fake. I don't want to see Gary Johnson win a fake rigged debate, I want to see him win a real debate. He will almost surely be on the ballot. Either way I'll write him in. Hey he's not perfect, who is. He just has his own charm and way of doing things. If he was a complete liar his track record would show it. There have been people with worst track records then Gary Johnson that have run the country better then who is in office now. And I agree about Romney.
His personal financial value says too much about him as it is. He may not turn out to be a right wing monster like George Bush, or he may. Who knows, I don't want to take a chance and vote for him out of good faith because he is against Obama, the way I voted for Obama because he was against G B. And let's not bring up "George Bush is gone already why do people still talk about him?" again. Yes we know he's gone! I'm making an analysis on a motive to vote for someone you might not truly believe in based on voting someone else out. It's not a great idea.
At least if I 'write in' Gary Johnson I know I'll be contributing to doing this country a favour instead choosing an opponent who'd win in another country with a kangaroo court, and choosing him to run this capital simply to not want to see someone else succeed.

Gary Johnson has my vote.
I see the democrats and republicans destroying this country. They are so fucking ridiculous that nothing actually gets done. I refuse to support either of those two parties.

Plus change is a gradual thing. I think it's essential that we stand up and say this is not right. What's happening to this country is fucked up, and we don't want our freedoms infringed upon. The democrats love to manipulate our freedoms so they can get elected and that's absolutely disgusting.

That is not just a Democratic thing though, Republicans do that as well.
Even if Gary Johnson doesn't win though (which he probably won't, but you never know) if he gets a noticeable amount of the popular vote I would say that is progress in the right direction.
