The following NEWS clip will shock you. It is from RUSSIA TODAY, a mid-cap news company found on many TV programming worldwide.
It is a short conversation between General David Patreaus and Sec. Defence Robert Gates about Lybia, a week before NATO decided to launch attacks.
In this video both men seem to joke about bombing Lybia in a sarcastic and quite frankly insulting way.
They are in my opinion, laughing because they know that it has been planned all along to attack Lybia, especially when you consider that this event took place a week before the NATO mission began.
I am very sorry to any skeptic, because I know it will hurt you.
However, I can't really be held responsible for this....

We wouldn't have to worry about shit like that if Ron Paul became president.
Leaders think of killing others as moral. I don't give a shit what race you are we shouldn't be pressing our views on anyone. I don't hold guns to everyones head and say vote for Ron Paul even though I stress it a lot. What would happen if China came here and pressed their views on us, wouldn't we resent them and wish them dead. The same goes for us in the middle east we push our views on others and they hate us for that. We should leave all those countrys and work on fixing our own.

I don't think it has anything to do with beliefs.
I think it has to do with the fact that Qadaffi was calling for a african currency based on hard assets like GOLD instead of the Fiat currency.
Also, Qadaffi was pushing for the use of such a currency and a basket of currencies to trade oil in.
Few people know that the rich boys in the US are really just trying to keep the US dollar as the reserve currency for OIL because it is by and large a huge source of revenue for them. Think about it; every time oil is bought you have to buy dollars to pay for it and sell them to invest in other economies.
Its a huge source of income and control in the world.
USA's Petro Dollar Threatened by Gaddafi's Gold-for-Oil Plan
Ironically, SADDAM was thinking about doing the same thing Qaddaffi is trying to do as we speak.
