Tax Dollars at Work
    #14608017 - 06/13/11 06:44 PM (12 years, 7 months ago)

So, I went to check out the local public dock/boat ramp at Ft. Monroe.  But, it's on a military base so you have to show them your drivers license before you can enter.  So, I show my ID to some white guy at the gate and he lets me in.  No problem, Done deal, right?  Wrong.  Then, I drive some 100 yards forward and there's a second stop for some reason.  The black guard told me, I was selected for a "random car search."  They make me pull over, open my doors, look inside.  These two black guys don't find shit.  They're even doing the looking under the vehicle for drugs? bombs?  I'm white as rice.  This was all after they have my license, know who I am, no warrants.  Now they want my insurance so I pull out my 2010 car insurance statement.  Which is perfectly valid for 2011, I just forgot to put the updated statement in the car.  It was all still the same.

These fuckers told them that because the car insurance was labeled for 2010 and not 2011, I was not able to enter a god damn boat ramp.

Job well done.

:lmafo: You have to have up-to-date insurance, but I totally agree that that is bullshit. Police here can check to see if you renewed the policy (and it's still valid) or not. I'm sure they can do this in Virginia too.

I wonder how long it's been since those guys got laid. :stonedjerk:

Ft. Monroe here in Hampton, VA is getting shut down in a few months anyway.

I'm sure the black employees don't mind pissing off the white man.

What does it matter, they're out of a job sooner than later.
