Nah. Probably not in NJ.
Our Amanita has a yellow cap, with yellow warts. There's a yellow fringe on the edge of the annulus and I can see pieces of yellow universal veil tissue lying on the ground... almost certainly Amanita flavorubescens.

Is flavorubescens one of the muscimol/ibotenic acid containing ones? If it isn't too much to ask could you list the ones that are?

No. A. muscaria, A. pantherina and A. crenulata are the only ones I know off the top of my head.

zac, we.. need to see the under side that shroom..
Dont take my word for it, Ive been picking yellow smooth amanitas, slight warts, but mostly smooth, they are more slender also.. yellow dusting on the stems as well, but stems white.. Im positive it not flavorubescens as these seem to be more tan yellow pale, and not panthers, that are more brown..But Im not positive what species they are. After consuming yellow species Its safe to say its has no harmful toxin and only the safe drug. The only pains in my side were those from walking carrying water and =weed.. 6 medium size shrooms along with least 6 to 8 grams of subs I was tripping on the dark side.. Very deep mind fuck..
If youre afraid this species its going to fuck with your head. Know its medicine. These are safe shrooms when taken with some wisdom.
