Requesting a little help for my first time with rye

I had a fairly successful go at BRF cakes and have now moved onto rye. I have 2 quarts of rye spawn ready to go. I have 5 or 6 more quarts almost ready. I have researched a bajillion ways to do rye/bulk/casing/mono's/etc, only to be left with more questions. so here goes.
I have a SGFC. I was thinking of getting loaf pans. Making Damion's 50/50 coir mix, adding a thin layer to the bottom of my pans. Adding 1 quart of rye spawn, covering it with the appropriate amount of 50/50 casing mix. Then what? I cover it up with foil/saran/lid, wait a couple of days till the myc is poking through, then throw it in the SGFc? Is that it?

I would MIX an amount of colonized grains with an equal amount of coir/verm in your trays. I wouldn't layer. But thats just me.

Basically you have it down,I would mix the quart of spawn with the coir even it out in the pan then cover with a half inch layer of coir to cover up any exposed grains, then cover with saran wrap, poke a few holes in the saran wrap with a fork then let colonize. When its 100% colonized let it consolodate for a few more days then fruit it

sounds good. just make sure your substrate depth is at least 2 inches deep. im pretty sure iread somewhere that shallow substrate can produce small fruits. idk ive always used around 3-5 inches with good results.

does anyone have any recommendations for what is ideal to use for a loaf/casing pan/container. I have heard that the aluminum loaf pans aren't great, they tend to break down.

Ok. One more question. Is it better to use a larger loaf pan and use 2 quarts of spawn. or should I just make 2 smaller (regular size) loaf pan with one quart of spawn in each?

If you have the room in your FC then make two trays 2 or more inches deep
