Some nice photos there mate.
1. Russula sp. Love the colours. 2. Gymnopus sp. or maybe something from Marasmiaceae family. 3. Looks like Cuphocybe spp. Was the stem as scaly as the cap? Amazing find. 4. Agrocybe praecox group. 5. Some really stretched Lichenomphalia umbellifera. 6. Gymnopilus sp.

Thanks Mayo
Yeah #3 was scaly all over it was really awesome, sadly it was the last find as the battery died. I would have liked to take many more photos of it.
I think #4 was something Stropharia/Deconica it was growing directly from horse poop.
I had some other great finds up there, sadly I'll have to go back to get some pics.

Thanks Karode Photos are going a lot better now I have learnt to take my time a bit.
I need to start ID'ing my Russula finds. I see them everywhere, probably passing up good eats quite often.
Location wise somewhere between Dandenong and Gipsland

Ah didn't see the poop.
Running out of batteries is my worst nightmare. Especially in the cold they can loose their power almost twice as quick.

My old camera just used normal batteries this doova has a little pack though, I normally charge it before I go but I was in a rush and forgot. I think I need to get a spare for longer trips anyways.

That's pretty much my stomping grounds. I like the temperate rainforests and Alpine areas out there.

Cheers LanLord, I normally do, and I normally take a little compact camera as a back up. Was too impatient to get out and amongst it this time though I guess.

Hmmm I hadn't even thought of an Entoloma for #2 I think you could be right though.
Stropharia semiglobata looks spot on for the other one. Thanks Alan.
