Thanks. Amanita flavoconia. It's like a weed around here but not always easy to photograph well.

It reminds me of one of the natives down here in Oz, A. xanthocephala. It's also prevelant when the season is in swing.
Just waiting for the camera battery to charge myself.

I always have trouble with a shallow depth of field with forest photography like yours, yet you seem to have a pretty good range on some of you're photos. Are you using a tripod with a closed aperture? Also, is that natural lighting? Great shots.

Well that's not all true. I keep the aperature at 2.8 to keep exposure times down...These were so small and shot so close I didn't need any depth of field. There isn't much in these photos. I just learn to work around it.

9. I want to say Suillus grevillei, but I am certain I'm wrong. Did I get the genus right?
-------------------- In ancient times, when demons roamed with man, They hunted, loved and lost, hand in hand, As time went on, the difference between them faded. You couldn't tell anymore, demons and man were related, and some would say the same, but who would like to claim? In time, Gods had even forgot, Demons, too, once love had sought. In times recent I remember, Once I was a man, In my heart I had an ember, I'll relate the best I can but it was snuffed, one distant December. And yet here I stand, no flesh, no bones, no seed or semen, All that's left is this Demon.

Zimmer, your photos are getting better! Though I was going to say, the depth of field needs some work, haha. Also, clear that piece of moss out of the way of that cool Mycena's gills!

Entoloma species, IMO.
