Maybe the Universe has no sense/meaning at all .

The meaning of the universe is to continually evolve over time through experience, otherwise it wouldn't exist.

Whe are here to discover why. so, the fact that we are trying to figure it out means we figured it out.the sense/meaning of our existence. But why be here in the first place is what boggle my mind. ultimatly matter will cease to be . why a race for knowledge if it will all be gone someday ?

it may be best to simplify your definitions
experience is not subject to evolution . evolution is subject to experience

Aliens exist.
I could bet its also like Stargate SG-1. lol
I mean come on... We can barely see the planets around a star and there are billions and billions of stars. We have recently found about 50ish planet that offers the same conditions as earth (liquid water).
Its just a matter of time before we find thousands of similar planets and figure out a way to zoom close enough to see whats on it.
If it wasn't for that 'we can't surpass the speed of light' theory, we could go see ourselves
Fuck you Einstein

An alien civilization could be more techologically advanced than humanity in less time. It all depends on which features evolution has shaped that species with.

I think it's unlikely that we're the most advanced. It's not hard to imagine a world where the Dark Ages didn't go down, that alone could place another civilization a good thousand years ahead of us, even if by some astronomical odds we started conscious progression at the same time. In another thousand years we'll probably be immortal, our brains downloaded onto a something way crazier than a wireless network. Assuming we last another thousand years, of course.
To whoever was wondering, I believe our ability to date the universe comes from our knowledge of the speed of light. Badass telescopes see the furthest point of light at 13.8 billion years from the suspected point of the singularity event, IIRC. But yeah, it's light travel measurements.
Interestingly, the Hindus put the age of this universe at 15 billion years, they're the only religion that came close and our technology could always prove it older than we currently think, closing that gap. They also believed that the universe expands and contracts ad infinitum, an idea recently backed up by modern science when an astronomer discovered rings in the background radiation of the universe that he hypothesized would be there if the universe does oscillate. They're like fossils of other singularities. I'll try to find the article.

given the number of stars in a typical x the number of galaxies in the universe . i would say we aren't the most advanced in the universe. something to also take into account. that given the amount of time that the universe has been around many civilizations more advanced may have risen and gone extinct before we were even here
