Can I RE-INOCULATE a wbs jar without problems?

I had shot up 12 cakes 3 weeks ago. 6 were ms B+ and the other 6 were Malabars. 1 of the malabars has been on the consolidation period for 4 days now and the others are almost 100%. The b+ are a different story. only 1 jar showed signs of like and halted growth at like 10%. The other 5 are dead with no myc at all. I made 5 wbs 1pt jars a few days ago and shot up with (different syringe) B+ to give it another try. Only 1 jar is showing signs of life and only 2 grains(literally) are colonized. I have a GT LC and would like to re-inoculate if possible. It seems like B+ doesnt like me.
Any suggestions?
PS. ALL my jars that I have made have grown excluding the B+.. ALL the B+ that I've made have NOT grown.

yeah, strain shouldnt matter. But youre risking throwing off your moisture content, and effectively doubling your chances of contamination with nocing one jar up twice.
I would just prep new jars if I were you

Well there are a few different things you have to think about. 1 - did the jars not work due to the spores being bunk or is it because the jars werent the right moisture or some sort of bacteria contam. Now if you have given ample time for the spores to (for lack of the right word right now) hatch ad they just arent going to then you dont have to worry about the strains "mixing" and if its due to moisture or bacteria its just not going to go. If your really concerned dont trade prints of the jars but a mushroom is a mushroom and fruits are fruits imho
I would prep new jars too but thats becuase im always prepping new jars

sporeworks. the first one they sent me was bunk, and this second one looks bunk too.
I also made 2 lcs. 1 gt and 1 b+ and shot up jars with them. the jars of gt are 50%+ and the b+ are like 15% or so. I started to think b+ are a super slow colonizer?
I just threw out the cakes taht had been sitting for a month.. holy shit they smelled bad. no bacteria or anything, they just smelled bad. (opened them outside)

If they smelled bad they probaly had some sort of bacteria contam. Even if you let a jar sit for a cpl months it shouldnt smell.

If it's a diff strain they'll just knit together and engage in sexual reproduction resulting in a hybrid strain. That a what I've read anyway. Ive also read that they are sometimes not compatible and wont. Never actually tried it myself so I can't be 100% sure about this
Also I would recommend Ralphsters for sore syringes, all of mine have been perfect and have lasted for months before use

This hybrid thing is totally false. The genetics are highly unlikely to form into a hybrid this isnt marijuana and mushroom genes wont work like that. What will happen is you will have two types of mycellium competing for the same food source and your results wont be that great due to this. That is only if the first spores actually grow. It doesnt seem like they are growing(as long as the OP hasnt seen growth in 10-14 days anyways)

The people who say this is true point out the fact that these different strains are still of the same species. For example, in a multi spore syringe a bunch of separately hatched mycelium bits will knit together. Like when you see the 4 different points of inoculation come together in a PF cake

This is wat it is. Everything is P. Cubensis. Every single spore that forms a dikarytic growth is a new and separate "strain" this is why we isolate on agar. Even with this if you mix "equador" with "e-real" you will get a very diverse cake with shitty results. I have tried it several times just to see wat will happen not trying to cross breed cubes cause it aint going to happen this way
And snake venom doesnt always work and you have to get a monokarytic iso to begin with

Thanks all, I'm going to wait until the 7 day mark and see how it goes.. if not I'll probably re-inoculate but I dont want my moisture to be low in the jars(from the 1 week wait)..
I got a bad first impression from B+ so it will probably be a while before I try again

you should wait longer to inoculate again give it about 14 days cuz if you have bad spores or if b is just slow growing then you should wait and see what happens one time i reshot up a jar and did it how i always do it with no probs and i got some cobweb mold i would just wait and see what happens with those cakes and make a new batch of substrait
