goddamn all these variations make it hard for a newbie. Constantly think I've gotten lucky but its always one of those orange gilled ones or the ones that are really brown underneath. I should learn the names but I'm horrible with labels, they don't gel with my brain. From all the photos here it seems the stem is the surefire indicator, they all seem pretty consistent

chop up your mushrooms into the smallest pieces possible when fresh, if dried powderize them.

Juice some fresh lemons into a glass

add mushrooms

let sit for 15-20 minutes

drink everything in the cup, including the chunks. You can strain them but with what you have there I would just drink everything.

Wash down with lift or lemonade and you wont even taste it.

do a search if you want to know more.
:peace:

Straight lemon juice sounds really, really harsh. Do the mushies absord a lot of that sourness? I shouldn't have any problems after chugging so much robo in my day but I wouldn't want to put all my mushies into a drink and then hurl it all up immidietely, not that my one successful finding of subs was any near enough to have any sort of trip... so i may be getting ahead of myself but I am curious now!

doesnt have to be lemon juice just anything with a high acidity level with grapefruit juice being one of the highest, so i guess try some different ones maybe?? haha dude it would be heavenly compared to that of downing robo. i also killed it ages ago and now when i see the box i cringe up and almost yak lol could never be fucked extracting DXM so i just stoped it all together

Sorry what's the better way, no offence meant:confused:

I was a bit confused because the 1st pic shows that it was already picked out of the ground and nearby there were a lot of other mushrooms that had been picked and turned over recently. Obviously someone else was checking them out. I naturally thought that they had looked at these too and decided they weren't subs. I'm still new to these mushrooms so any advice is much appreciated.

well i mean you can see in the first pic that they are indeed subs but when asking for a proper ID for p. subaeruginosa you cant just put up a pic of some fungus asking if it were active there are posionus look-alikes out there that could be miss inentified. you should include habitat, bruising, gill color, spore print and so fourth can never be too safe when harvesting and collecting fungi, enjoy your subs tho man

What grapefruit juice do you think would be the best? I'm new at this, ifg I get lucky I'm not ghoing to have many mushrooms I suspect, I want it to be as potent as possible if this method is the best way to do it

Thanks lotg, they were growing under a pine in the hills. The bruising was showing when I found them, I haven't touched them or picked them. I really thought someone else had dismissed them as subs, which is why I wasn't sure about them. The gill colour was the same as other subs I've seen posted here. Obviously I didn't do a spore print. Will do from now on, until I'm sure about them.
Also are they classed as small subs, I'm thinking of dosage levels now. Cheers mate for your help.

hgahaha i didn't realise there was such think as plain grapefruit juice. All i've drunk is pinapple or orange or apple and freakin strawberry or whatever... butr I'm guyessing overall freshly squezzed lemons would be the best way to go over grapefruit juice? I guess grapefruit juice would be the same potency as mushroom tea, right? The one time I have tripped on mushrooms I did tea and it sure as fuckin shit worked, but I'd love to push further

yeah they are subs. whered they get indentified inactive?? yeah grapefruit juice is one of weaker ones actualy i think at ph level 3?? and lemon at 2?? so fresh lemon juice should be stronger but im not sure if thats spot on so someone feel free to clarify

If you've had experience with robo i think I'd trust your opinion on freshly squeezed lemon juice. But adding sugar though after leaving it for 20 minutes, would that fuck it up? I just think about robo and shudder and gag. Its nice when a chemist has a home brand type one, they taste much better. Gotta love flying through hyperspace :P

How many lemons do you reckon I'd need to fill up a decent sized glass?

I don't s'pose anyone knows how much lemons sell for?...

i dont think leaving it would have any dramatic affect on the psilocybin but dont take my word for it wait for someone else to clear it up but id say by adding abit of sugar you could preserve it for awhile ahahaha and lemons are inexpensive as  :poop:  or easily enough just go pick someones nearby never fails lol and you'd probably need bout 2 large lemons (im thinking a lil less) to fill the shot glass

It was just because other patches of in-actives nearby had a mushroom or 2 ripped up recently. (I visited this area 2 weeks ago and it was untouched then) I thought because I found this 1 sub uprooted, someone more knowledgeable had thought they weren't subs. Nice to know they are though.

a shot glass? is that all i'd need? fuck i'd really have to do a lot of snippin'. So is that how you extrac the maximum psilocybin, by making it as fine as possible?

sorry for all the questions I had just never heard of this method and I did some google searches but ended up with a lot of unanswered questioned
