Question about colonization(pics included)

This is my first grow. Half of my jars look like they did the day i inoculated them. The other half look as follows. I have done a side by side so you can see the difference. Is this the starting of colonization or is it too early to tell? It's only be about two day. The yellowing on the white substance is from my camera not the actual jars.

well in some of the jars I used millet added to the normal verm, rice flour.I thoughtit might be the rice flour puffed up or condensation but I didn'r overwet.I wish the pics were better there is some growth that looks like what i've seen of myc spreading and somestuff that looks almost like lumps. What I know for sure is it just started today so it definetly wasn't there before,I've been scouring the internet and no luck so far I did everything by the book so I don't know why it would be contam.

Those are not good.Even if you inoculated with LC the jars would not be that colonized after only two days. That most definitely looks like some kind of bacterial infection.
So you put millet in half of your jars & then just the standard BRF/Verm in the other half.Only half your jars look like the ones pictured,& the other half still look like they did the other day when you inoculated your jars.
So which jars are pictured, the standard BRF/Verm jars or the BRF/Verm jars with millet added?
I am almost willing to bet that the jars that you are questioning are the jars that had the millet added.

CONTAMINATION!
Grains such as millet need to sterilized in the PC for at least 60 minutes at 15psi. Noting that your using BRF, if you just steam sterilized your cakes with the millet added, the millet wasn't properly sterilized and is breeding the bacteria.

How soon after you put the jars together did you PC or pastuerize them? I waited 3 days to PC these and when I went to get them they were bad. Here is one:

Granted these are standard brf/verm. Got the lesson that I have to PC immediately.

Okay so I am not sure if it makes a difference but I ground the millet into a fine powder like the brown rice before adding it to the jars and sterilizing.I even did three jars with quiona anf flax with rice flour and whole grain rice.Since this is my first attempt I am experimenting with different conditions and substrates to see what would work best. And in response to the stater of the obvious obove the questionable growth above is WHITE I said in my post that the camera made a funky pic with a yellow glare and it wasn't in the acual jars.

If that is day two, and they look like that than they are more than likely contaminated.... Even under prime germination temperatures (77-79) Spores usually take anywhere from three to eight days to germinate................................... And they will germinate in little white blotches where the innoculant was injected.. Not immediately all over the jar.
