IMO Wavy caps = much more hallucinogenic trips, and bell caps produce more of a body/mind stimulation trip

i dunno IMO there both as potent but i dunno thats just me. the potency seems to differ from patch to patch so for me its hard to tell

I think the wavy caps are definitely more potent then the bell tops, but I've seen and had some beautiful and very potent bell tops.

It's all personal and subjective though, I have my favourite ones from each hunt and I have expectations for them to be strong most of the time haha, probably has nothing to do with it but I've had some mean looking subs that were crazy potent, and some fresh little pins that looked like nothing that destroyed me.

I like wavy caps cause they dry quick, are easier to get down and are usually potent as hell.

:peace:

lol this could go on forever, to me subs are just subs haha but a good ways to dry em, select a few different ones, grind up and ingest lol mixing them solves all

yeah my mate thinks the same sub is a sub, but I've hunted 2 spots this year and one puts out wavy caps and the other mostly belltops.

I've tried both in varying dosages from both patches and the wavy caps beat them everytime for me.
Course its set and setting as well though.

I've just had consistently stronger trips from wavy caps.

I found these on thursday. Sorry that a couple were too young, and a couple were pulled out by roots.

I also found some others that looked paler, and had thicker and shorter stems. Their spore print came out exactly the same colour as subs (purpley brown) so i assume they are ok? They also bruised blue, on both the caps and stems. And note that when i picked them, they had no blue. here is a picture of the underside of one of them. Do the gills look a little light for that size? Or is it just that i am used to the specific colours of my usual patch and there is just some variation between patches? Btw that is not a ring around the stem, its where the stem snapped a little. Alot of the stems were split and snappy for some reason.

gills look fine and the lighter coloring in the pileus would more than likely be from some sun exposure a good example of a hygrophanous cap. The spliting in the stem could just be from age but in your case i highly doubt this because you have some young specimens there

Ok thanks, yeah I didn't really think they were. I'm from the UK and used to picking p. semilanceata, but have to admit your p. Subaeruginosa confuse the hell out of me, with the different variations. Oh well I'll keep on hunting, hopefully tommorrow will bear some fruits.

I actually had a girlfriend many years ago whos grandmother was addicted to codeine, I have seen its bad side be careful fokes.

QFT. And this is fucking trippy, a couple of weeks away from rehab, I come here and there are others who are getting fucked over by the fact that codeine is OVER THE FUCKING COUNTER. I wasn't crazy, I think there are a lot of functioning addicts in Australia due to this very reason.

Codeine changes 'won't stop addicts'

This was when they stopped selling the jumbo 75 pill boxes that I used to eat all at once. It certainly didn't stop me, just cost me more gas.

Big and bad photos, I'm sorry guys.

But anyway we went out today, found 40 or so - didn't look for that long.

About two weeks ago we found a cluster of subs but 90% were pins, when we went back there we found these:

http://i410.photobucket.com/albums/pp185/Kay3o/IMG_8367.jpg
http://i410.photobucket.com/albums/pp185/Kay3o/IMG_8366.jpg
http://i410.photobucket.com/albums/pp185/Kay3o/IMG_8365.jpg

They're bruising blue and look alot like subs, we even found some fresher subs among them. Only thing is they're paler than normal..

That's fine, the colour of the caps can be dependant on both the relative humidity and the amount of sunlight the mushroom has been exposed to. As long as all other indicators match up, which they do, you're good to go.
