If it was hours, your jars were probably still too hot. and you killed the spores. if it was days. then dont worry. sometimes it takes 4-5 days for growth to appear.

your fine, ive never had a prob waiting a few days after sterilizing to innoc, its actually agood idea so you can see if yur sterilization wuz successful, i wonder if u have any thoughts on my post though about
sterilizing lightly contaminated jars then innoculating them.
